On January 29, 2019, the Connected Car Challenge 2018, an initiative promoted by the Campus Motor Anoia whose objective is to promote the connected vehicle through the development of applications linked to vehicles, held its final session. The Cluster of the Automotive Industry of Catalonia (CIAC) collaborates in the initiative among other institutions.
Francesc Costa, CEO of URB&DRIVe, presented to the jury the technological solution URB&CONNECT, a Web-App of intelligent connectivity that allows to manage shared and connected electric vehicles for individuals and companies, the commercialization of innovative connected vehicles and advanced and intelligent solutions for vehicle recharging.
The URB&DRIVe application deserved the first prize, according to the jury, formed by Josep Nadal, CIAC manager; Jordi Armengol, from Grupo Carles; David Gubern, partner and founder of Instinct Tecnologies; Enric Serradell, of Thinkigles; Joan Serra, advisor of the Motor Anoia Campus, and Silvia Biosca, technical director of the Motor Anoia Campus and secretary of the jury.
The prize, worth 9,000 euros, will go entirely to continue promoting our project.
